What were the challenges you were facing on your online travel platform?
At the time, we were working with multiple hotel vendors who provided us with hotel & room content with multiple listings. The main issue was that this content was fragmented and unstructured. We’d also see several other issues like duplicate listings, missing room details, and inconsistent descriptions.
For instance, we received a list of 22 rooms of a hotel from two vendors (10 from vendor A & 12 from vendor B) but when we checked the hotel’s website, we found that they only had 5 rooms. Such inconsistencies often led to a frustrating booking experience for our users and operational inefficiencies on our end. This was becoming a recurring problem as we had to fix these errors manually, which took a long time.

It ensures real-time updates and precise hotel identification across vendors, which significantly improves the accuracy of our listings. We also appreciate the detailed reporting and insights that allow us to track and refine our data quality.
